This USB Direct Cable is a single gage interface that connects to the AND EKi Series Electronic Balance using a 9-pin male cable connector---no additional cables required. The output of the USB Direct Cable is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal.Connecting the USB Direct Cable with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer allows the AND EKi Series Electronic Balance to be identified as a keyboard device. Data can be sent to any Microsoft Windows application - no software wedge required. The USB Direct Cable will make the AND EKi Electronic Balance readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard computer keyboard to eliminate data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or Explorer based SPC software program, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear and trigger the reading.Readings can be triggered by any of the following...
