The incoming gage readings appear in ANY Windows-based software as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard - eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.Connecting the USB Direct Cable with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow it to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application or explorer based SPC software package - no complicated software wedge required.Readings can be triggered by any of the following: Pressing the push button on the USB Direct Cable Depressing a connected footswitch (not included) Pressing the data send button on the gage connector Simple to use!This USB Direct Cable is easily configured to output data in different modes, such as TAB, CR, up, down, left, right and continuous reading.
