Mahr Federal Maxum III to USB Direct Cable This USB Direct Cable connects the Mahr Federal Maxum Plus or Maxum III E1 (6-pin) digital indicator to a computer. The USB Direct Cable connects to the Mahr Federal digital indicator using a high quality 6-pin connector---no additional cables required. The output of the USB Direct Cable is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal. Connecting the USB Direct Cable with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow the Mahr Federal digital indicator to be identified as a keyboard device to send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no complicated software wedge required. Never again struggle with when your software updates. Our Keyboard interface always works when your operating or SPC software is updated. The USB Direct Cable will make the Mahr Federal digital indicator readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard computer keyboard - eliminates data collection errors. Readings can be triggered by any of the following: Pressing the built-in push button on the USB Direct Cable Depressing a connected footswitch (not included) This USB Direct Cable is easily configured to output data in different modes, such as CR, TAB, up, down, left, right and continuous reading. The user defined output mode is easily selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the USB Direct Cable. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws.
