MobileCollect Shape Transmitter for Mitutoyo QuantuMike Micrometers

The MobileCollect Shape Mic 02 Transmitter mounts directly to the Digimatic output port of your Mitutoyo MDE QuantuMike and transmits measurement data wirelessly to a MobileCollect Base Receiver, and from there into any PC application or SPC software. No cables, no adhesive mounts, no separate connector to order. One part number, one component, installed in about 30 seconds with a standard #1 Phillips driver.

The QuantuMike is built for speed, with 2 mm per revolution spindle travel that makes it one of the fastest micrometers on a production floor. The bottleneck is what happens after the measurement. The Shape Transmitter removes it, sending each reading from the gage into your SPC software with no clipboard, no keyboard, and no transcription step in between.

Because the MDE QuantuMike communicates over Mitutoyo’s Digimatic S1 interface, this Shape Transmitter supports both TriggerSync and GageSync. Your SPC software can request readings on demand, and it can read the gage’s serial number and calibration dates directly from the instrument and attach them to the measurement record.
